Following a blessing of the roses at Christ Church, a group of volunteers led by Reverend Miranda O Sutherland handed the flowers out to mothers at retirement homes around Hope on Sunday.
Residents and staff at Park Street Manor independent living senior retirement home, Fraser Hope Lodge residential and long-term care facility and Riverside Manor assisted living all received the gift of roses and Mother’s Day wishes.
