VIDEO: Yale disaster simulation a success

Volunteers came together to educate residents and practise in fictional disaster situation

Yale’s first community disaster simulation provided much-needed information for both emergency crews and residents Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters went door-to-door handing out information to locals and surveying for special needs in the event of a crisis in the town.

A headquarters was established at the Yale and District Community Centre where people gathered to register and see simulated stations.
