The sights and sounds of flamenco will fill a Chilliwack theatre when a traditional dancer-singer and an musical ensemble are in town in February.
Tamar Ilana and Ventanas are at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on Feb. 10.
Ilana will be backed by five musicians, and together they will seamlessly blend traditional flamenco with global musical influences, igniting the stage with energy, emotion, and artistic brilliance.
They will take people down the less travelled paths of the Mediterranean, mixing in contemporary interpretations of ancient ballads, original compositions, and new choreographies, inviting audiences of all backgrounds into their lives and music.
This event is paired with a Molson Coors’ taste testing before the show, where guests can try samples of some of their products.
Tamar Ilana and Ventanas is coming to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $32 with discounts for those in the Patron Programs, and can be purchased at the Centre Box Office, online at chilliwackculturalcentre.ca, or by calling 604-391-SHOW(7469).
