LETTER: Hope resident thanks Chilliwack hospital staff for their compassion

Editor,

Editor,

On Tuesday, March 7, I was brought to the Chilliwack hospital by ambulance. I needed a femur, leg bone, fixed. On Saturday, March 10 Dr. Grover was determined to do so. He could not, because as it was he finished around 11:00 p.m., so I was the first one he worked on Sunday, March 11.

It was so late, the kitchen wasn’t open, so a beautiful nurse bought pizza. I never met the lady, but beauty comes from the heart and soul, also compassion. That night you could feel the love and compassion in the air.

Thank you, every person, for those special days and all your compassion. You all gave me a special visit. I love you all.
