How about a pro and con column in your paper. They have it in the Nanaimo News, well read. Most comments are good like this.
The old guy Don Harris, with a beard, lives beside the H Tree, a tourist stop. Last week, two Montreal people on pedal bikes stopped. Don talked to them and offered to let them pitch their tent in his yard and use the shower and facilities. They stayed for two days. He took them for a swim at Kawkawa Lake and a trip to the Othello Tunnels.
These people will remember Hope for a long time.
