Forty-five participants took part in a "Family Snowshoe" at Manning Park on Saturday, March 5th.  Hosted by the Hope Mountain Centre, the program celebrated the 100th anniversary of BC Parks and the 70th anniversary of E.C. Manning Provincial Park.  Funded by BC Parks and the Mountain Equipment Co-op, this free family event included lunch, prizes, snowshoes, and professional guides.  The program kicks off the Mountain Centre's new schedule of outdoors trips -- 20 in total -- that will run during the spring, summer and fall of 2011.  Vist www.hopemountain.org for a complete list of 2011 programs.
