June 24, 1928 - April 9, 2007
The Family of Adina Madaisky announce to all that may have come into contact with this wonderful, special woman of her recent passing in the beautiful mountain surroundings of Hope, B.C. after a year long struggle with cancer.
Adina, Herzel, Mummy, Oma moved on peacefully surrounded by her husband of 48 years Hans, sons: Peter, Paul, Perry, Patrick, daughter: Peggy, daughters-in-law: Teri, Dolores, son-in-law: Larry, and grandchildren: Eric, Evan, Austin, Aaron, Clarissa, Adara, Arden, Aubrey. Family members there in thought and spirit include Denice, Lisa, Buddy, Amelia, Isaac, Sally. Their love and support was ever present. Immediate relatives in Germany include sisters: Tabea, Eva, brother: Johannes and numerous cousins.
Truly a remarkable woman who touched all that knew her. Those who were able to call her Wife, Mummy, Oma, Sister, Aunt & Friend will never meet another woman like her again. We've been blessed.
A remembrance and gathering will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2007 at 1pm at the Canyon Golden Agers Club, 560 Douglas St., Hope, B.C.
It is earnestly requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made on Adina's behalf to the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and hospice staff at Fraser Canyon Hospital for their care & compassion.
