SCOTT, Clair. March 9, 1942 ~ December 8, 2011. With great sadness we announce the passing of Marie Jacqueline Clair Scott on December 8, 2011 at Fraser Canyon Hospice at the age of 69. Claire will forever be remembered by her children Maria (Doug), Pete (Leasa), Dan (Ann) and her treasured grandchildren, Heather (Bryan), Kyle, Jesse, Craig, Kristen, Tessa, Meagen, Dustin, Samantha and Bradly. She was predeceased by her father Aurele Ouellet, mother Juliette Lyons, first husband Gordon Malanowich and brothers, Leo, Louie, Andre, and Leo. She is survived by her sisters Madeline and Pauline. Claire was born in Chilliwack and was raised in Hope. She was a resident of Hope for most of her life. Claire loved painting, volunteering hours at the Teahouse, quilting, knitting, visiting with friends and being with family. She touched the lives of many people with her smile, caring ways, generosity, love and laughter. She will be sadly missed and forever loved within our hearts.
