ELLEN HUNCHUK
Ellen was born January 6, 1925 and passed away on November 4, 2007 in the Chilliwack Hospital, with her family at her side, after a brief stay at the Fraser Canyon Hospital.
Ellen immigrated from Poland in 1932 and settled in northern Manitoba. She has resided in the Hope area (Dogwood Valley and Silver Creek) since 1968. She was a long standing member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
She is survived by sons, Reg (Pam) and Don of Hope and many nieces and nephews in BC, Manitoba and California. She was predeceased by her husband William Hunchuk and sister Irene Pasiowetz. A private Celebration of Life was held on November 9, 2007.
The family would like to thank their relatives, friends and her many Eagle and bingo friends for their thoughtfulness at this time and the Nursing Staff in the Intensive Care Unit of the Chilliwack Hospital during her final days.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
