It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellis Edmond Borden of Laidlaw, BC. Ellis passed away quietly on September 9, 2016, at the Fraser Canyon Hospital. Ellis was 78 years old. Ellis is survived by, Gerda, his loving wife of 59 years, his son Michael, (Debbie), his daughters, Christine, (George), and Pamella, (Randy), his 6 grandchildren and his 6 great grandchildren. Ellis will be greatly missed by his family and large circle of friends. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society at 1275 7th Avenue, Hope, BC, V0X 1L4. God Only Takes the Best!
