BEIMLER, Elsie (Ida)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie (Ida) Beimler on September 27, 2016 at Fraser Hope Lodge. Ida was born on October 19, 1928 in Kelowna, BC.
Ida was predeceased by her husband Ken. They were happily married for 60 years. She was also predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters. Ida is survived by her daughter Helen Marie McAbee, grandchildren; Alan, James (Megan) and Bella and her great grandchildren; Madison, Avery and Rory as well as her extended family. Ida was a homemaker with Fraser Health for many years. She also was a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary. Ida loved her bingo and never missed a game. She always had a smile on her face for everyone she met. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Fraser Hope Lodge for the care given to Ida during her time there.
There will be no service. If friends so desire, donations can be made in Ida's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
