DONALD, Forbes Adam
Mr. Forbes Adam "The Governor" Donald passed away suddenly on February 24, 2008 in Hope, B.C. at the age of 83 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosena and his brother, James. Forbes is survived by his loving family: children, Jean (Ray) Couture, Joan (Bill) Tillack, Pam (Alex) Zarin and James Donald, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, extended family and many good friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountainside Funeral Home Chapel, 1270 Ryder Street, Hope, B.C. with Reverend Ken Wotherspoon officiating. A Reception will follow the Service at Forbes' home in Hope, B.C.
Forbes was a member of the RCAF, COPA and Model Boat Association. He was also interested in horticulture, photography and model trains.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon, Tri-Cities / Fraser Valley Office, #100-2232 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. V3C 2A5, in memory of Forbes.
