HALE, Francis Arthur

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather.

After a year long uphill battle with illnesses, Frank passed away peacefully with family by his side on the morning of April 29, 2012 at the Fraser Canyon Hospital.

Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Caren, daughter, Cindi and son-in-law Pat from Lillooet, B.C., son, Mark and daughter-in-law Sheila from Telkwa, B.C. He also leaves behind grandchildren Creigh, Kourtni and Shaun Sullivan, and Hailey and Randi Hale.

Frank was born on April 20, 1937 in the Township of Melancthon, Ontario to Arthur and Marguerite Hale.

Frank came out to Hope, B.C. in 1962. (It was here where he met Caren the love of his life.) Working for various trucking companies throughout the years including Commercial Mines Service, Ray Boris Trucking, Alltrans and Kwikasair. In 1972 the Hale family called Silver Creek their home. In the late 70's they started their own trucking company "Frank Hale Trucking". Venturing back "on the road in the mid eighties, his most enjoyable trips were hauling to Alaska for MTX. In 2003, Frank retired and started "Frank and Caren's Road Adventure's" where they traveled back East, Alaska, and all over B.C.
