Lemuel Charles Montegue "Monty"
Monty Demmitt passed away on September 25, 2008 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 57 years. He was born October 30, 1950 in Chilliwack, BC. Monty is survived by his partner, Mona Pederson of Chilliwack; his son, Norm Demmitt of Fort St. John, BC; 2 brothers, Grant and Bill Demmitt and numerous nephews, nieces and many friends including those he made during 25 years as a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Hope. He was predeceased by his parents.
A family celebration will be held to remember Monty on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Eagles Hall, Hope BC from 1 - 4 pm.
