WILDHAGEN,

Louise Anna Sophia (Lisa)

February 24,1917 - March 28, 2016

Lisa passed away on March 28th after a short stay at Fraser Canyon Hospital.

Lisa was born in Hannover, Germany to Emile and Albert Wildhagen. She emigrated to Canada in 1954, settling in Vancouver. Lisa loved the outdoors. On road trips from Vancouver she fell in love with Kawkawa Lake and Harrison Hot Springs, her special places. In the 70's Lisa moved to Kawkawa Lake. In later years Lisa often drove to Harrison just to walk on the beach or have tea at the Hotel. Lisa was a lady of many talents; did awesome knitting, loved her plants, was proficient on her computer, always the Secretary. We loved her resilience, her independence, her professional focus, her love of life. Lisa belonged to the Women's Institute, S.N.Y.P., Christian Women's Club, was a member of Christ Church and later of Church of the Resurrection.

Lisa leaves behind a sister Gerda Engelmann of Germany, nieces and nephews in England and Germany and many dear friends in Hope. A Funeral Service will be held on April 16, 2016 at 1:30 pm at NorthWest Harvest Church, 888 Third Ave. Tea to follow. Special thanks to Linda Yearwood and Lisa's "Angel" Grace Dahlke.

"I am not alone. My Saviour is with me."
