BARBER, Marie
Marie Barber passed away on September 24, 2016 surrounded by her family, in Abbotsford Regional Hospital after a brief illness. She leaves behind Don, her loving husband of 54 years, sons; Dean (Wendy), Mack (Sharon) Colt, and grandchildren; Chace (Carly), Caylan (Graham), Ryanne, Reegan, Renae, Cole, Kendal (Russell) and Rachel. She is also survived by her twin sister Donna (Ron), brothers Sam (Lorna) and Harold (Karen) and sisters-in-law Bev and Marlene. She was predeceased by her parents Ernie and
Wanda Pulver. Marie was born in Nordegg, Alberta, July 20, 1943 and moved to Hope in 1948. Marie lived her life to the fullest and was the centre of her family. She loved hunting, gardening and was well known for the delicious pies that she was constantly baking. Her biggest joy of all was her family. They always came first. If we were ever in need, we just called Grandma and we knew she would be there. She took care of us all, was well loved and will be greatly missed. We are sincerely thankful to all for the generosity and support during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 344 Fort St., Hope BC.
