Mr. Michael Wittmann passed away at the Fraser Canyon Hospital in Hope, B.C. on March 05, 2007 at the age of 74 years.
Michael is survived by his loving family, wife: Josephine, son: Peter, brother: Anton and sisters: Leni Ganswurger and Anna Bertole.
Michael was an active church member who enjoyed gardening and hiking. In his early career he worked as both a miner and a blacksmith.
A Traditional Service was held at Our Lady of Good Hope Roman Catholic Church in Hope, B.C. on Friday, March 9, 2007 @ 11:00 a.m. with Father John Tritschler, Father David Hughes and Father Gerry Guillet as Celebrants. The burial followed the Service. Prayers were held at the same church on Thursday, March 8, 2007 @ 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Michael's memory to the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society 1275 - 7th Avenue, Hope, B.C. V0X 1L4.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kehler and the nurses and staff at the Fraser Canyon Hospital.
