UNRAU, Peter
Peter Unrau passed away January 12, 2008 in Hope, B.C. at the age of 85 years. Peter was predeceased by his wife Bertha. He is survived by his loving family; children: Darwin Unrau, Ardella Bruce, Lois Zimmerman, Nola Marshall and Lester Unrau; grandchildren: Caleb, Anna, Miriam, Jared, Ruth, Jordan, Vera, Janelle, Kylee, Shaylynne, Kristen, Carlie and Jed.
Peter worked hard all his life, raised five children and devoted much of his time and efforts to his church. His passion in life was his faith. He enjoyed bowling and attending social events.
A Traditional Funeral Service was held at Hope Christian Assembly on January 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Mickeal Hoffman officiating. Burial followed the Funeral Service at Mountainview Cemetery in Hope.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the nurses and staff of the Fraser Canyon Lodge for their care of Peter.
