Ronald James Kreller
1945 - 2017
Ronald James Kreller, 71, of Hope, BC, died after a long battle with cancer on January 7, 2017. Ron is survived by Cecile his wife of 46 years, daughters: Vicky (Ed), Nancy (Ross) and Stacey (Randy), brothers: Gary and Bruce (Bev), sister: Elaine (Bill), grandchildren: Chelsea, Austin, Hailey and Audrey and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Katie. Ron's greatest joy was the time spent with his family. He will be remembered by all for his welcoming smile, gentle heart and great sense of humour. Ron enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, camping, mushroom picking, gardening and working. He was a miner, blaster and worked for Emil Anderson Construction for many years; and was always eager to teach others his trade. A special thank you to Fraser Canyon Hospice Society and staff at Fraser Canyon Hospital for their loving care and support. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hope Legion Hall, 344 Fort St, Hope BC, on January 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
