William James Wallace

February 2, 1927 - July 8, 2017


Bill Wallace of Hope BC passed away at the age of 90. He was born in Selkirk, Manitoba. In his early years he worked for Trans Mountain Pipeline, then was owner / operator of Frontier Sporting Goods in Hope and later in Chilliwack. Bill was an avid hunter / fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He also had a lifelong passion for collecting old Winchester rifles. Bill is survived by his loving wife Doreen of nearly 66 years, sons: Bill (Verlane) and Brad (Terry), daughter: Cheryl, grandchildren: Shelby (Ryan), Scott (Courtney), Sierra (Andy) and Dustin, great grandchildren: Colton, Londyn, Harlow, Kade and Tatum. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Randy Haw. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff / care aides / Doctors and nurses at Cheam Village in Agassiz where Bill was living for the last year and a half. There will be no service by request.
