In memory of our loving mother & grandmother, Zonetta Florence Douglas.
Zonetta Florence Douglas (GiGi), 89, passed away quietly on September 26, 2008, in Hope, BC, with her family at her side.
Zo was born in Kitsilano on April 26, 1919 and was raised in North Vancouver with 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She was a resident of Hope since 1954.
Zo was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Douglas, and son Clair.
Zo is survived by her daughter, Sharron (Dave), grandson, Brian (Laura), granddaughter, Michelle (Mike), great grandchildren: Koreann, Paige, Megan, Greg (Kayla), and great-great granddaughter, Keira.
A gathering to celebrate Zonetta's life will be held at the home of Brian & Laura Webster, 175 Forrest Crescent from 1 pm - 4 pm, Friday October 3, 2008.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nyirenda, the nurses at Fraser Canyon Hospital and all of our friends for their care and support. Special thanks to Britta Gagnon and Theresa Cook.
