I have had occasion to often cross paths with the Hope bus which heads to Agassiz and back, and usually observe that the bus is empty, or nearly so.
With the cancellation of Greyhound there is going to be a real gap for residents of Hope to travel to Chilliwack or Abbotsford, in some cases for medical appointments.
If non-drivers can at least travel to Chilliwack in a timely fashion, they then have the opportunity to connect with the Fraser Valley express bus which stops in Abbotsford and then proceeds to Langley.
Surely this is not too much to expect for the residents of Hope, to be able to travel without being dependant upon volunteers!
