Holly-Rose LaRiviere holds up a 19-inch cutthroat trout. LaRiviere said her family has fished at Kawkawa Lake for at least 25 years and this rare trout is the biggest she has caught. “We’ve been keeping track of the fish we catch since 1999,” she said. “Never seen anything like that.” According to the Ministry of Environment, cutthroat at sea can be as large as 68 centimetres, or about 27 inches.
