A director of the Hope and District Chamber of Commerce is working to better link the Fraser Valley business community through a new social media site.

Joshua Lemmens, a video producer, has created the website aimed at bringing together local business owners in an online social atmosphere.

"Most entrepreneurs are over the age of 40 and have a limited understanding of facebook, twitter and video marketing on the internet," said Lemmens, who hopes "to encourage business people to understand and use these marketing tools, by offering videos and meet and greets to assist in developing free resources for businesses in the Fraser Valley."

"It is an open network designed specifically for small to medium sized businesses to connect and grow. Even competitors can communicate together in finding successful applications in marketing and understanding the internet and how it can work for them," said Lemmens.
