Many businesses are opening up again in Hope as the province moves to the recovery phase of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Hope Standard has compiled a list of businesses and details on whether they are open or closed, what their hours are and what are plans for reopening if they’ve been forced to close during the pandemic.

For seniors, people with compromised immune systems or peoplein isolation, pick up and delivery of dogs is available. Also available to take pets to vet appointments, and pick up dog food.

We encourage our customers to use our app to place your order, search up Blue Moose Coffee to find it on your app store. It’s free! You can also use the online orders form on our website. It will be ready for the 14th.

Sanitization program:

-All high touch surfaces to be sanitized between clients

- All tools and equipment used in measurement, fabrication and repair will be wiped with alcohol between clients

- All frames touched will be sanitized with effective eyewear-friendly product between try-ons. A case will be present to deposit frames into eliminate cross contamination

- All clients are requires to wear a mask for all service requiring personal contact where personal distancing is not possible (measurements, fitting, etc)

- 2 persons permitted in office at one time

- No waiting area available; clients will be asked to rerurn when service complete

- E-trans preferred method of payment but Visa, MC and debit and cash accepted. Cheques not accepted. Terminal and keypad sanitized between uses.

- Weather permitting door will be open to reduce contact

- Biobreak facilities not available

Plan to reopen June 1 depending on the pandemic situation, after being closed since March 19. If people need anything ahead of June, they can call and the owners can meet them at the store.

Customers can’t wait inside after they load their machines, folding inside the store is not allowed. Each machine is cleaned between use, bathroom is as well. Maximum three customers in at once. Door is being kept open as much as possible.
