It’s been a ‘sunny start’ to the season for the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation.

The organization sold hundreds of the popular breakfast sandwiches at White Spots in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, as well plenty of breakfasts at the A&W in Mission. It’s part of the foundation’s It’s a Wonderful Breakfast fundraising campaign, which is held at restaurants around the Eastern Fraser Valley.

All the money raised from this drive-through campaign goes toward hospitals in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack and Hope. So far they’ve raised more than $7,700 and there is more to come. All of the events were planned for this week, but with the highway closures and overland flooding in areas, the Hope event has been now been postponed until Dec. 13.

There were plenty of smiles in the lineups, and diners took a minute to pose with Santa Claus and Belle the Cow from the Chilliwack Chiefs.

Tickets are $15 per person or $50 for a carload of four people.

Purchase your tickets for a delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee at fvhcf.ca/hopebreakfast. For large group orders, contact Leslie at leslie.gmur@fraserhealth.ca or call our office at 1-877-661-0314.
