Busy day for Easter Bunny

Thirty-five kids in Yale were treated to an Easter egg hunt at the Yale Historic site. In a twist on a traditional hunt, each child was given a number and had to find his or her own huge chocolate bunny hidden somewhere in the historic park. The Hope Lions Club gave out $1,000 in Easter eggs at Silver Creek school in Hope this year. A huge crowd of kids scampered through the field and the forest in search of the plentiful Easter treats. And then, after a very busy morning the Easter bunny spent a relaxing afternoon at the Hope Recreation Centre.
