After almost two months of travelling, the CFL’s Grey Cup Festival is coming to Chilliwack.
With the second annual Ribfest set to take place from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28, the stop is one of 50 as part of a province-wide tour the CFL is doing to promote the 111th Grey Cup being held in Vancouver this fall.
The Grey Cup Festival Truck will be on-site Friday (July 26) evening to help kick-off the first day of Ribfest.
Festival goers will be treated to a variety of fun and engaging activities including corn hole, throwing games and an inflatable Grey Cup. There will also be plenty of CFL-branded merchandise for purchase.
On top of activities, there will be a video booth where fans can record a 10-30 second video clip saying why they love the BC Lions, the CFL or the Grey Cup for a chance to see their video on the official Grey Cup website or even screened live at the Grey Cup game.
Admission to the Grey Cup Festival is included in the purchase of a Ribfest ticket with partial proceeds going to the Chilliwack Salvation Army.
Ribfest is set to run from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28 at the Vedder Park.
