Calling all Fraser Valley bowlers and batsmen, a fundraising cricket tournament is coming to Chilliwack next weekend.

The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) is hosting the cricket tournament the weekend of Sept. 11 and 12 at Meadowbrook Park/AD Rundle middle school.

This new event will host 10 teams in a T10 tournament format over a two-day period.

To enter a team visit www.fvhcf.ca/cricket or contact Leslie Gmur-Boulton at leslie.gmur@fraserhealth.ca. For those who are not cricket players but would love to learn, this is a great opportunity to see how it’s done.

Registration fee is $350 per team.

Any businesses or organizations that would like to sponsor of this event can contact Eleanor at Eleanor.christison@fraserhealth.ca or call 604-851-4890.

FVHCF raises funds for equipment and programs funded or endorsed by the Fraser Health Authority. The Foundation serves the communities of Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Hope, Agassiz and Harrison Hot Springs.
