Food and donation drive for flood relief tonight at Chilliwack Coliseum

The Chilliwack Chiefs, Chilliwack Minor Hockey Association and Cheam Source for Sports are joining forces for a Food & Donations Drive tonight at the Chilliwack Coliseum.

From 5 to 8 p.m. the groups will be collecting non-perishable food, cash and other items to aid in flood relief efforts.

Much of what’s collected will be donated to the Salvation Army, and some items will also be redirected to the Ann Davis Transition Society and Chilliwack Emergency Social Services.

The list of desired items includes:

- Rain gear

- Coats

- Socks

- Toiletries

- Men’s deodorant

- Diapers/pull-ups of varying sizes

- Baby clothes (0-5T)

- Baby food pouches

- Formula

- Playpens/high chairs/cribs

- Personal hygiene items

- Feminine hygiene items

We are hoping to get the word out to those that are able to help in any way that they can,” said CMHA’s Adam Holek.
