Mother’s Day pancake breakfast was a hit at the Hope Eagles hall thanks to some great fry cooks like Larry Kellum. Over 100 people attended the breakfast on Sunday, with volunteers serving up over 20 flats of eggs and 15 pounds of bacon.  Vera Murphy was awarded this year’s Mother of the Year plaque, escorted to the breakfast by many of her children and grandchildren. All funds raised at the annual Mother’s Day breakfast go towards the Eagles Charity Fund.
