Do you enjoy hiking in any weather? Leaving your cosy bed at night?

More importantly, do you want to help the community?

Hope Search and Rescue is recruiting, looking for new members for their team. They say all of the above are necessary traits, as well as not being afraid of heights, and being comfortable with missing out on special occasions if a call comes in.

“Not only do we provide ground search and rescue support, we also are an organized road rescue team and are called for motor vehicle accidents where entrapment and/or over embankment rescue is required,” their Facebook page states. “We are a multi-disciplined team.”

If you are interested in joining an amazing group of community orientated people of all ages and backgrounds and live in Hope or the nearby surrounding area, send an email to arrange to pick up an application package to apply@hopesar.ca.
