All hail the Corn King!
Nathan Hertgers has been crowned the 72nd Agassiz Corn King in a ceremony on a rainy Saturday morning. John Hoogendoorn took second place while Holger Schwichtenberg placed third.

The Corn King crowning was complete with a ride around town courtesy of Bunk Mackay’s antique truck. Though the full Fall Fair was on hold this year, organizers still managed a couple of well-received events, including the chicken and corn barbecue and two nights of drive-in movies.
