One reader shared this photo of his dad “sitting on the peak of Mt. Cheam on his 74th Birthday. It was on June 28, 1995, I got the call of his passing. It was the first day of principle photography on the feature film, ‘Happy Gilmore’. I was the Standby Greensperson, and was excused with condolences from principle actor Adam Sandler, and Director Dennis Dugan. My dad was hit on crosswalk in Agassiz, by a young man who had just received his driver’s licence that day.”
