Three lucky Hope residents were the winners of the eighth annual Passport to Christmas contest, which is sponsored by The Hope Standard and the Hope and District Chamber of Commerce.

Stephen Au-Yeng, who’s the Chamber’s president, stopped by the offices of The Standard on Wednesday, Jan. 9, to draw the winning names from a box full of hundreds of entries.

First prize—a $500 Visa— went to Rosanne Poirier; second prize—a $200 Visa—went to Jen Goodkey; and third prize—a $100 Visa—went to Alison Ross. The Lucky Dozen Bonus Draw winner was Donna Smith.

The Standard and Chamber extend their thanks to the community for their active participation and for shopping locally, which benefits the entire community.
