Participants gathered at the Skagit River Trail Saturday to learn about “traditional plants” from Yvette John, a member of Chawathil First Nation, who is based in the Hope area.
Having studied traditional plant use for 28 years, John continues providing the workshop/hike through the Hope Mountain Centre which had a sold out group over the weekend.
