VIDEO: Hwy 7-bound traffic flows through Agassiz

As traffic moves on, Agassiz comes to a standstill

Traffic was backed up from highway to highway through the Agassiz townsite Thursday afternoon.

The Fraser Valley is working hard to get moving again with hundreds of vehicles – most of which are commercial – passed Agassiz along Highway 7 on their way out of the landslide area.

The highway remains closed between Agassiz and Hope except for westbound commercial traffic, while as of Thursday afternoon, traffic is moving slowly along one lane in both directions west of Agassiz.
