Works of art, including pottery, painting, jewelry, mixed media, and paper and wood crafts, combined with many donations from local businesses for services and goods, were up for sale at the 11th Annual Auction for the Arts held at the Hope Golf and Country Club on April 26. Over 100 patrons of the arts contributed to the success of the event, which raised over $3500.

This popular fundraiser supports arts programs and cultural events for children and adults in Hope and the surrounding area, some of which are free of charge and others which are offered at a minimal cost to participants. Painting and pottery classes, as well as the popular summer Concerts in the Park, are some of the programs offered by the Hope and District Arts Council.
