Hope’s Brigade Days is the latest event to go ahead after a one-year break, and it all starts this afternoon (Sept. 10).
Everything takes place at Sixth Avenue Park, starting at 4 p.m. There is no fee to take most of the fairgrounds, thanks to sponsors that have offset the costs of bringing the three-day event back to town.
Shooting Star Amusements has brought a midway to town and opens at 4 p.m. No entrance is needed, but there are wristbands for sale for those wanting to enjoy the rides.
A food truck alley also starts at 4 p.m., and is in the free entrance area as well. This year features an outdoor ‘trade parade’ to check out, as well.
A live double header concert will kick off the weekend’s entertainment, featuring Appaloosa at 6 p.m. and March Hare at 10 p.m. The stage show is ticketed in the beer gardens, and those tickets are available on the event’s website. They are 4.500 $10 tickets for the evening, and if there are any left from web sales, they will be selling them at the gate.
The concert is on the stage at Sixth Avenue Park, and tickets will be required for a view of the show.
