Until Feb. 23, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is well transformed into a place for lovers.
"Love Lights" glow at North Vancouver's landmark park, lit up for Valentine's Day and beyond.
Romantics of all ages will enjoy the many illuminated displays, perfect for photo ops day or night.
Sunday's crisp, clear weather was perfect for a hand-in-hand stroll across the famous 450-foot suspension bridge, high above Capilano Canyon, followed by dinner at Cliff House.
In the cozy, chalet-like restaurant, the special Love Bites menu features Chicken Supreme Risotto, Dark Chocolate Molten Cake and three tasty drinks (Rose Martini, Chambord Royale, Agavero Chocolate Cafe Latte).
Later, we walked off the calories on the CliffWalk, through the frozen pond area and into the Trading Post.
On the other side of the long bridge, check out the Treetops Adventure, the majestic "Big Doug" tree, the Nature's Edge stroll and more, well lit in winter.
Park hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., or 9 p.m. from Feb. 13-16. Get there by car, or hop the free shuttle from Canada Place and Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Vancouver. Details are posted on capbridge.com, or call 604-985-7474.
