Chilliwack Chiefs skate into 2025 at top of Coastal Conference

Chiefs chalk up a win and a loss at the Coliseum over the weekend

The Chilliwack Chiefs remain the top team in the Coastal Division, after a weekend of games on home ice.

They faced the Victoria Grizzlies Friday night (Dec. 27) and while the teams matched goals through the first period, the Chiefs pulled out ahead in the third, ending in a 8-4 win.

They lost their second game of the weekend to the Langley Riverman (4-3), and they'll match up again this week in an away game Friday (Jan. 3).

And Jan. 4, the Chiefs will welcome the Prince George Spruce Kings into the Coliseum.

Friday night was also the annual Fill the Rink event at the Coliseum, with fans bringing in donations for the Chilliwack Salvation Army.
