PHOTOS: All Star Wrestling makes 2025 Abbotsford debut

Return event sees nine matches inside the Abbotsford Arts Centre

The athletes of All Star Wrestling invaded Abbotsford for the first time in 2025 with the Love is a Piledriver show at the Abbotsford Arts Centre on Saturday (Feb. 8).

The main event saw ASW world heavyweight champion Shawn Murphy retain his title by defeating "Big Rig" Jimmy Mitchell after several stomps in 5:55.

Mitchell opened the show with a win over Todd Quality in a King of the Road match to open the show and earn the title shot. Mitchell and Quality wrestled in the back of a trailer that travelled to the show. Footage of that encounter was shown on the screen and the pair continued the match from the truck back into the ring.

The West Coast Heavies, represented by Quality and Murphy, retained the ASW tag team titles with a win over Los Dawgs in 7:02.

The Gambler successfully defended his ASW cruiserweight title with a win over Dave Rishi in 10:28.

Other action included:

  • Battle Wasp pinned Chase Degenhardt at 6:54
  • The Enterprise defeated Team USA by pinfall at 9:32
  • Cherry Blossom pinned Zondra Lee at 5:40
  • The Prospector Wes Barker over Eddy Ross in 6:38
