Letter: Fire department can help during snow chaos

Editor,

Re: Front page news in your paper. A neighbour trying to get help for his sick friend. Phoned town, all busy with a bad storm. He didn’t want to call the ambulance, there could be a charge.

The man should have called 911 and fire chief Tom would send the crew with first aid to help. The ambulance will come no charge if they don’t give you a ride. If the ambulance takes you to emergency they get you in now.

I was in the fire department and had many calls to help up large people who had fallen and could not get up. The fire department is there to help.

Call them, don’t let someone suffer.

P.S. Let Trump be Trump, that is all I am going to say about that.
