Capture creatures this Saturday

The Hope Mountain Centre is hosting another exciting pond event at Thacker Marsh in Hope on Saturday, May 21st.

The Hope Mountain Centre is hosting another exciting pond event at Thacker Marsh in Hope on Saturday, May 21st.

People of all ages are invited to join this free event, funded by Nestlé Waters Canada, celebrating the diversity of creatures living in our local wetlands.  Participants will be given dip nets to capture frogs, crayfish, and aquatic insects, then they can take a closer look at those creatures with microscopes and magnifying glasses.

The program starts at 10:00 a.m. and participants should pre-register (no charge) at www.hopemountain.org or call 604-869-1274.
