Two female singers will pay tribute to Shania Twain and Linda Ronstadt when they perform on a Chilliwack stage in February.
Totally Twain and Classic Ronstadt will be coming to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Twain and Ronstadt are two iconic entertainers and between them, they have sold more than 200 million albums and have 19 Grammy awards. Vocalist and tribute artist Michelle Reid will take on the role of Twain, and D.L. Car will pay tribute to Ronstadt when they're in town.
Totally Twain is Canada’s number-one Shania Twain tribute featuring Reid backed up by her all-star band. Totally Twain is billed as "authentic and provides a classy Shania experience like the Queen of Pop herself."
The performance includes dazzling costumes, nostalgic moments and audience participation.
Classic Ronstadt (The Legacy of Linda) is fronted by Car who also is the front person for the Heart Tribute, Barracuda. Her band consists of some of the elite musicians on the Pacific West Coast.
They will be performing the music catalogue of songs which have made Ronstadt one of the first female superstars of pop and country.
