UPDATE: Crashes on Highway 1 near Abbotsford now clear

A crash on Highway 1 near Abbotsford between a minivan and flat deck construction truck slowed westbound traffic on Wednesday morning (Dec. 11). 

The minivan driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

According to Drive BC, the vehicle incident occurred in the right lane past Bradner Road at roughly 5:15 a.m.

RCMP say the minivan collided with the truck as it entered Highway 1 from an access point.

Police say neither drugs or alcohol are suspected as factors in the crash.

A separate crash was reported by Drive BC  on Highway 1 west of Clearkbrook Road in Abbotsfrod at 7:54 a.m., adding to the congestion. 

 According to an update from Drive BC, both vehicle incidents on Highway 1 were clear as of 9 a.m.
