Four candidates running for Hope byelection

Nate Brown, Bonny Graham, Michael Bowcott, and Magnus DuBeau are all running for the District of Hope byelection in April.

Four candidates are running in the District of Hope byelection in April. 

Magnus DuBeau, Nate Brown, Michael Bowcott, and Bonny Graham are all running for council. They are all seeking to fill the position left by now-former Coun. Zachary Wells who resigned on Feb. 3. 

The District of Hope announced the official candidate list Friday evening (March 21) after the last nomination package was submitted at 4 p.m. Candidates had until then to submit their documentation in to the district. 

The byelection is taking place at the end of April: General Voting Day will be on April 26; Advanced Voting will be on April 16 and April 23. Candidates can officially start campaigning on March 29.
