A Shred-It event held on Saturday, May 10, was a great success say organizers.
There was 3,100 lbs. of documents brought down to Hope Memorial Park to be shredded. The event was by donation, and $605 was raised that will now go towards the spray park project.
Staff Sgt. Mike Sargent was also on hand, speaking with people about the importance of securing personal information.
