New Fraser Cascade school board trustees to be inaugurated Nov. 8

The all female school board includes four incumbents and three newcomers

Fraser Cascade School District 78’s new school board trustees will be sworn in tomorrow (Nov. 8) in a special meeting.

The ceremony will be held at the Fraser Cascade District of Education office at 8:30 a.m and is open to the public.

This term’s school board includes incumbents Heather Stewin, Linda Kerr, Wendy Coleman-Lawley, Cathy Speth, and newcomers Pattie Desjardins, Wendy Clark, and Andrea Hensen.

The first official meeting of the new school board will be held next week, on Nov. 15 in the board office at 650 Kawkawa Lake Road. Audio recordings of the board meetings, along with written records of the minutes highlights, are also posted to the School District 78’s website.
