The Trans Mountain Pipeline (TMX) will soon begin construction of the crossing under the Flood Hope Road, near the Flying J Travel Centre.

Posted on the District of Hope’s website, the work will occur between Monday to Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and is expected to be complete in March 2023. The District says that the upcoming construction will temporarily increase noise, traffic delays, and dust volume, as well as add “directed lighting” to the area.

During this time, a boring machine will be used to bore under the parking lot and road surface.
